Line between the two malleolus. The talocrural angle is the angle between this line and the tibial plafond. |
A second talocrural angle exists and it is formed by a line between the two malleolus and a perpendicular line to tibial plafond. The normal value for this angle is 79-87°. |
The difference between right and left talocrural angle must be <5°. |
Some authors advocate that the difference must be <3°. |
