Foot and ankle
Talar dome - tibial plafond distance
Varus stress (instability)
Δ >3 mm
Radiography (Anteroposterior)
A difference of more than 3 mm between the normal and pathologic side measured between the talar dome and tibial plafond during varus stress test is highly suggestive of ankle instability. |
